The daily newspaper Libertà, with 134 years of history and a reference point for the city of Piacenza, has achieved a total restyling, after ten long years. A new grid and a new modulation has been designed, with which the page architectures are created that allow the hierarchization of the news. The typeface of the body text is renewed with a more modern version. For the font of the titltes, Ardina was chosen, a typeface designed specifically for maximum performance in print and used for the first time worldwide in this project. For sports titles a high impact font sans is used.
The importance of local and regional content is growing, passing to occupy the front pages of the newspaper. The new Passions section is added to the sections of Chronicle, Sport and Culture, each with an identifying color. The restyling also featured the two supplements, the cultural weekly Sette and the Sunday Portfolio, whose contents have also been revised.
